Isn't it such an enchantment, Lolly May. I am sure that half my heart is there still xxx

What a beautiful and yet lonely place. Inside it reminds me of being below deck on an old wooden sailing vessel. It's very lovely indeed and clearly a very special place.

I know just what you mean, Tracey. There are several marsh churches that feel almost exactly like being in an upturned boat, or in the rib bones of a whale. It is quite an extraordinary place.

What a lovely journey this is. A wonderful poem to read aloud. I can hear the wind in the marsh reeds.

Thank you, again for giving me a reason to pause and read. What a beautiful description of the church and its surroundings and how wonderful that it is still possible to visit it!

Isn’t it lovely, Julie. I am so pleased that they still have services there, and especially a carol service at Christmas. Swoon.

I think I’ve quite lost the plot with my advent journey 🥴 today the Morrigan & mugwort made their way to me. Not a Saint! Although I think mugwort is quite the wild Saint.

Oh, I don't think that you've lost the plot at all. Mugwort is definitely a wild saint, and I'm sure that the Morrigan will have much to say. You are just following your own star, and rightly so.
