Thank you Bee. As I start out on this journey I hope to feel connected to the web of light, love and hope, to the Saints, the wildlife and the earth. Tomorrow I will endeavour to visit our Swans and Geese at the local nature reserve down the road and spend some time in quiet contemplation 💜🙏 xx

That is a beautiful thing to do during our Advent journey, Lolly May. There is a reason that so many saints are connected to waterbirds. I'm sure that they have much to teach us about overwintering. I hope that you have a blessed time xx

I love swans, and this was a wonderful tribute to their lore. The saints hold special interest to me as well, and and it was delightful to learn of St. Hugh. And Mary Oliver is a long-time favorite poet. All around, just a really lovely post.

Thank you so much. Swans are wonderful aren’t they, and so full of magical stories that it would take a lifetime to gather them together, but what a life that would be!
