Oh Bee, my heart bleeds for all the atrocities endured by the people's. Such a roller coaster of emotions your beautiful, heart felt writing is sending me on. Bless you my lovely xx
There is so much to digest and ponder on from your writings. Tears for the people of Palestine. I had never heard of Crossbones graveyard but will endeavour to visit it next year. Thank you for raising my awareness with your words.
I am enjoying your writing so much and I absolutely loved this piece. Thank you for your words on Palestine. People have asked me why I look at all the disturbing footage and I will now tell them that I’m honouring the Palestinian people with my eyes. Your words about the Geese reminded me of the song by Natalie Merchant called ‘Hunting the Wren’. I don’t think she wrote it but it is another powerful honouring of the hidden treatment of women prostitutes. Thank you 🙏🏼
Thank you so much, Allie. I am so grateful for your reading and commenting. It's such an encouragement. Praying for us to live to see a free Falasteen. I must listen to that song. Thank you!
It is already Stir Up Sunday here & I have just baked my own version of Cattern cakes (almond muffins with caraway seeds & currants GF). I combined stir-up Sunday and St Catherine’s day. We shall enjoy the cakes tomorrow.
Your words are so moving to read. Thankyou again.
Being in Australia i sometimes feel a bit removed from the world.
You are already resisting then by remembering to keep Cattern. It's already Stir Up Sunday here too, as I have somehow taken up writing in the middle of the night. I am very much hoping to stir something up after I've slept though.
And thank you so much for reading and commenting. I found this really hard to write, for all manner of reasons, and it's such an encouragement to know that you're there. I hope that your Cattern cakes are delicious!
Powerful. Thank you.
Thank you so much, Irene x
Thank you for your words and your remembering...🙏🏼✨
Thank you so much, Melanie x

If I lived close, I’d pop some in a basket and bring them to you 💫 just like Mrs March from Little Women xxx
Goodness, what a lovely thought! I am off to bed thinking about that. Thank you!
