Thank You so much for this. So much fascinating information on this beautiful creature. The videos are gorgeous and that church in the snow is magical. It's like time has stood Still. The carol is so lovely too. What a joyful read. 🥰😊

Thank you so much, Tracey. I absolutely adore shrews now and only got two hours sleep the night that I wrote this because I was so excited about them. One Candlemas I became obsessed with limpets, so expect limpet content in February! And yes, the church is extraordinary. If you go there it feels exactly like that video. I love marshes. I used to live on the edge of a marsh in Somerset and, if I popped into the village, I always felt as though the house might have disappeared when I came back!

This is so beautiful, Bee! Thank you for the reminder of embertide. I love the idea of the shrew shrinking their brain in the winter. Sometimes I think that's how I survive as well!

Thank you so much for this. Such a beautiful and interesting read. Doubly beautiful as the next book after your Joy Bringers one, features an old shrew as the main character. Your words put the right headspace around me and dear old shrew. Thank you x
